Always make sure you wrapper points to the new WIZ8.exe file from the CC Mod (backup the old WIZ8.exe). EXE files (Wizfast, Compass and fast anim). Then overwrite stuff with the CC mod on top. I first install Wizardry 8 Enhanced were you get Wizfast(speeds up monsters), Fastanim(speeds up animations), transparent compass (2 compases become transparent offering a larger filed view) and the different UI (original Beta UI). The game feels like patched up upgraded vanilla game. Some super balanced rules change for all classes/races/attributes/items and spells. The single best Mod I believe is the Christian Coder Mod. Wizardry 8 Enhanced offers mostly conveniences and some very minor game play changes.
